Almost everyone loves him. The coffee enjoyment at the start of the new day or in between during the break. Coffee is part of our lives and the lifestyle of modern people.

In order to enjoy the coffee, we depend on a perfectly functioning coffee machine with the appropriate components and parts. The poesia group manufactures seals for use in coffee machines for a number of manufacturers.

On 23 and 24 March 2023, the "windays" trade fair will take place at the Kongresshaus Biel. The poesia group is one of the main sponsors and a long-standing exhibitor.

The trade fair literally serves as a "window to the industry", because it is the most important conference of the window and façade industry in Switzerland.  During two days, the participants will gain a comprehensive insight into the topics that are currently moving the industry. In addition, this event is ideally suited to maintain and expand the network.

From 17 to 19 January 2023, the "Swiss Plastic Expo" in Lucerne offered a first-class platform for the plastics industry. The poesia group took part for the seventh time.

200 exhibitors presented new products and innovative solutions from a wide variety of applications in the plastics industry. With around 4'100 visitors, interest in the popular industry trade fair was once again very high. The focus was particularly on digitization, increasing efficiency and sustainability.

For some time now, the media has been full of reports about a possible electricity crisis with prolonged power outages in the coming months. Private individuals and the economy would suffer as a result. The poesia group therefore carried out "Operation Blackout".

On Saturday, 3 December 2022, a group of seven employees and three external specialists simulated a complete power outage with a targeted power cut-off.

The poesia group is always pushing into new areas with its seals. These include, among other things, applications on the campsite.

Brittle, hard and torn seals in caravans or motor homes are not uncommon. They are annoying and noticeably reduce living comfort during holidays or a spontaneous weekend trip.

The Swiss Plastics Expo will take place from 17 to 19 January 2023 at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre. The poesia-group will present selected products from its interesting range at its stand (E2136 in hall 2).

One of the specialities of the poesia group are high-precision moulded parts made of silicone injection moulding.

The future lies in the youth. That is why the poesia group attaches great importance to the training of apprentices. Currently, four young women are completing their apprenticeships at the innovative industrial company.

Mariam Habach is learning the trade of plastics apprentice EBA. After seeing the advertisement on an online job portal, she immediately applied for the trial apprenticeship. She quickly gained an insight into the work and the company.

After its foundation in 1997, the company grew continuously through company acquisitions. This prompted the management to bring all the companies under the umbrella of the poesia group in 2001, thereby creating a brand world.

Even before that, the company operated as a group of companies, but each company presented itself to the public with its own company name. This made it almost impossible for customers and suppliers to recognise a connection between the companies. With the branding, a unity was formed where the poesia-gruppe covers the whole spectrum with consulting, services and products. In this way, the poesia-gruppe acts as a contact partner for all customer needs.

We produce new seals and profiles for a wide range of applications at our plant in Unterkulm every day. The warehouse comprises around 5,000 different variants. With the popular sample service we support our customers who need to replace old seals and profiles. Watch our explanatory video...
